Co-Innovation Partnership with SAP

Role: Product Manager

Through UX research across different businesses, I was able to gather first-hand feedback and insights on SAP Screen Personas.

After participating in user-centric initiatives with SAP I had the opportunity to work with SAP’s Product Development Team at SAP Labs in Palo Alto – CA as part of the Imagineering Fellowship program in 2015.

Between August and December 2015, I worked with SAP’s Product Development team in Palo Alto. Along with the product owner I reviewed users’ feedback, the possibility to add features into the standard product, avoiding future customizations of the solution.

Objectives of the Fellowship:

  • Co-innovation partnership between Nestlé and SAP to improve SAP Screen Personas.

  • Provide first-hand feedback from end-users who already use SAP Personas at Nestlé markets.

  • Early testing with the product development team of the future version of the product.

Highlights of Partnership:

  • 40+ Nestlé requirements reviewed with Product Development Team.

  • Nestlé involvement on new Personas 3.0 reviews and feedback sessions.

  • Strengthen collaboration with SAP (beneficial for future engagements).

Results of the co-innovation partnership:

  • 37 Nestlé requirements/issues (out of 46) brought by me included in standard SAP Screen Personas product.

  • Early testing of new product version – SAP identified several issues which were fixed and released to several customers.

  • New version of SAP Personas (3.0) reviewed and feedback provided. Some improvements identified were included in the product roadmap.

  • Strengthen collaboration between Nestlé and SAP (beneficial for future engagements and other products).
